Start every nut by hand to protect the threads, then tighten in a star pattern to Ford's spec using our torque reference chart. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles, especially after a brake job or tire rotation where the wheels came off.

What socket do these take?
The hex is 13/16", so a standard 13/16" socket or factory lug wrench fits. Plan for the 2.19" overall length when choosing a deep socket so the nut seats fully.
Will these work on aftermarket wheels?
Only if the wheel is machined for an acorn (tapered) seat and your studs are 14x1.5. Seat styles are not interchangeable, so a wheel built for mag or ball seat nuts needs that style of nut instead.
