Start each nut by hand for several full turns to rule out cross-threading, then snug the wheel down in a star pattern. Torque to your vehicle's spec using our torque reference chart, and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles of driving.

Do I need to match the seat type on my wheels?
Yes. Acorn lug nuts use a tapered seat that centers itself in a matching tapered lug hole. Conical, mag (shank), and ball seat designs are not interchangeable, so compare the seat shape on your current hardware or wheel before ordering.
Why choose an open end lug nut?
The open end lets the stud pass all the way through the nut, so a longer stud will not bottom out the way it can inside a closed cap. That makes this style a practical choice when your studs sit proud of a standard closed nut, as long as the 7/16"-20 thread matches.
