Thread each nut on by hand first to protect the studs, then torque in a star pattern to your vehicle's spec using our torque reference chart as a reference. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles of driving, and use the open end to check that the stud is fully engaged.

Is 1/2"-20 a metric thread?
No, it is an SAE size: a 1/2 inch stud with 20 threads per inch. Metric look-alikes may start by hand but will not torque safely, so match one of your current lug nuts or check a stud with a thread gauge before ordering.

Do these match my wheel's seat?
These are bulge acorn nuts with a tapered seat. Wheels made for mag or ball seat hardware need different nuts, since the three seat types are not interchangeable. Compare with the nuts you are replacing to be sure.
