Start each nut by hand for the first few turns to avoid cross-threading, then snug them down in a star pattern. Tighten to your vehicle manufacturer's spec using our torque reference chart as a guide, and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles of driving.
Common questions
My studs stick out past my old lug nuts. Will these still work?
Yes. The open end design lets the stud pass all the way through the nut, so extra stud length is not a problem as long as the 12x1.25 thread size matches your studs.
Can I use these in place of mag or ball seat lug nuts?
No. Seat styles are not interchangeable. An acorn style nut uses a tapered seat, while mag seat nuts contact through a flat washer face and ball seat nuts use a rounded contact surface. Always run the seat style your wheel was machined for.
