Hand-thread each nut a few turns before reaching for a tool, then tighten in a star pattern to your vehicle's spec. Use our torque reference chart as a reference and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles, since fresh hardware can settle slightly as it seats.
Common questions
How do I confirm my studs are 12x1.75 and not 12x1.25 or 12x1.5?
The diameter is the same on all three, so the pitch is what matters. Check a thread pitch gauge against a stud, or bring one of your current lug nuts to compare. If the new nut does not spin on smoothly by hand, the pitch is wrong. Our application guide page also lists fitment information.
Will these work on wheels that use mag or ball seat lug nuts?
No. Acorn, mag, and ball seats each contact the wheel differently and are not interchangeable. This is a tapered acorn style nut, so it belongs on wheels machined for that seat.
