Slide the washer over the shank so it sits flat against the wheel, thread each nut on by hand first, then torque in a star pattern to the value in our torque reference chart. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles to make sure everything has seated.

Common questions

What size socket do I need?
These use a 7/8" hex, so a standard 7/8" six-point socket fits. Use a hand torque wrench for final tightening rather than an impact gun so you hit spec without overtightening.

My factory lug nuts have a tapered seat. Will these work on my wheels?
Only if your wheels are drilled for mag style hardware. Mag lug nuts clamp through a flat washer and straight shank, while tapered (conical) seats center in an angled hole. Seat types are not interchangeable.
