Open End Spline Drive Tuner Lug Nuts 12x1.25 Black
6-Spline tuner style open end black finish lug nuts 12x1.25 thread size with key. The hex key has both 3/4" and 13/16" head. The lugs are heat treated to achieve extra strength. Thread each nut on by hand first so the threads start clean, then snug them in a star pattern and finish with a torque wrench set to the value in our torque reference chart. Hand torquing also keeps the black finish free of impact marks. Re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
Why choose an open end lug nut?
The open end lets the stud pass straight through the nut, so nothing bottoms out if your studs run longer than stock, a common situation with extended aftermarket studs. With stock length studs they tighten down the same way a capped nut does.
How do I confirm fitment?
Check two things: your studs must be threaded exactly 12x1.25, and your wheels' seat type must match the nut, since conical, mag, and ball seats are not interchangeable. Send us your wheel and vehicle details if you want a second opinion.
