Thread each nut on by hand until the rounded seat meets the wheel, then tighten in a crossing pattern to the value on our torque reference chart. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles, particularly after a wheel change, because seats settle slightly once the car is driven.

Are ball seat and conical seat lug nuts interchangeable?
No. A ball seat has a rounded contact face that matches the rounded pocket in Porsche factory wheels, while conical and mag seats use different geometry. The wrong seat type contacts the wheel on a thin edge rather than the full face, so always match the nut to the wheel's seat.
What socket do these take?
A 19mm socket. A six-point socket grips the chrome flats cleanly, which matters if you use an impact tool during removal.
