Run each nut down by hand until the ball seat touches the wheel, then work around the hub in a crossing pattern and finish at the spec on our torque reference chart. Check them again with a torque wrench after 50 to 100 miles of driving.
Common questions
Can I use these on a wheel made for tapered (conical) seat nuts?
No. These are ball seat nuts, and the rounded face only mates correctly with a matching rounded pocket in the wheel. Ball, conical and mag seats are not interchangeable, so confirm your wheel's seat style before ordering.
How do I keep the black finish looking clean during install?
Start each nut by hand and use a properly fitting six-point 19mm socket. A loose or worn socket is what usually scars the flats, so a snug fit protects the coating.
