Set the washer flat against the wheel face, thread each nut on by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten in a star pattern to the value on our torque reference chart. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles, since mag style nuts with washers can settle slightly as the hardware seats.

How do I confirm 12x1.25 is the right thread for my vehicle?
Match both the stud diameter and the pitch. Thread pitch must be exact: a 12x1.5 nut will not seat safely on 12x1.25 studs even though it may start a turn or two. Check your vehicle's stud specification or the marking on your current lug nuts before ordering.
Are mag seat lug nuts interchangeable with conical seat nuts?
No. Conical, mag, and ball seat types each clamp the wheel differently and cannot be swapped. This shank-and-washer mag design is for mag seat wheels such as Cragar SST/Weld and Racing wheels.
