At 2.25 inches overall, make sure the stud length clears the back of your wheel and suits your lug nut style before installing, and match the 12x1.5 pitch to your lug nuts. Torque the lug nuts to the value in our torque reference chart and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.

Common questions

Why choose a 2.25 inch stud?
Extra length is the usual reason: it maintains full thread engagement when something sits between the hub and wheel, such as a spacer, or when a wheel design places the lug seats farther out. If you are replacing a stock stud, measure it first and only go longer when you know the added length clears.

Will the extra length cause problems with capped lug nuts?
It can. Open-ended lug nuts let extra stud pass straight through, but a closed-end nut can bottom out on the stud before it clamps the wheel. Measure the thread depth your capped nuts accept before running this length.
