Black Acorn Tuner Lug Nuts 1/2"
Optional 16, 20 or 24 piece 1/2" tuner style black lug nut set with key. The 6-point key has both 3/4" and 13/16" head. These lug nuts are heat treated for extra strength. The lug nuts have 6 point opening , which adds additional security, as regular hex keys or keys from other manufacturers can't open these. Tuner lug nuts are used for tuner style wheels which have smaller holes. These lug nuts are used for tuner wheels on Ford Mustang and many other cars that have 1/2" thread size studs. Tuner lug nuts use a slim body, so install them with the matching tuner socket or key to avoid rounding. Torque to your vehicle's factory specification with help from our torque reference chart, then re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
Are acorn and ball seat nuts interchangeable?
No. These use a conical acorn seat and will not seat correctly in wheels built for ball or mag seats, so confirm your wheel takes a conical seat first.
How do I confirm the thread size?
These are 1/2" thread. Check the hardware currently on your vehicle or the vehicle list in the description above to be sure it matches.
