Fit these like any snap-in stem: break the bead, lubricate the rubber, and pull the stem through from inside the rim until it seats. Keep the long body aligned straight as it comes through, then leak-check around the base with soapy water once the tire is inflated.
Common questions
Why choose a longer valve stem?
Extra reach. When the valve hole sits somewhere an air chuck struggles to get at, the TR418 and its 2 inch effective length bring the valve out where you can check pressure and add air without fighting the wheel.
Is the 2 inch figure the whole stem?
No. Effective length is the usable length measured from the rim surface outward. The TR418 runs 2.42 inches in total, which includes the portion that seats inside the valve hole.
