Chevrolet Tahoe bolt pattern by year

  • 1995-2000 Tahoe (GMT400), RWD 2-door only: 5x5 (5x127), adapters available in this collection (the 5x5-from products).
  • 1995-2000 Tahoe (GMT400), all 4WD models: 6x5.5 (6x139.7), adapters available in this collection (the 6x5.5-from products).
  • 2000-2027 Tahoe (GMT800, GMT900, K2UC, T1XX), all models: 6x5.5 (6x139.7), adapters available in this collection (the 6x5.5-from products).

If your Tahoe runs the 5x5 (5x127) pattern, the early RWD 2-door GMT400, start from the 5x5-from adapters. You can keep 5x5 with the "5 Lug 5" To 5 Lug 5"" adapters (offered with 1/2" or 14x1.5 studs), step to 5x4.75 (5x120.65) or 5x4.5 (5x114.3) with the 5-to-5 conversion adapters, jump to 6x5.5 (6x139.7) with the hub-centric 5x5-to-6x5.5 adapter, or go to an 8x6.5 (8x165.1) hub with the 5x5-to-8x6.5 adapter. If your Tahoe runs the 6x5.5 (6x139.7) pattern, every 4WD GMT400 and all 2000-2027 models, start from the 6x5.5-from adapters: convert to 5x5.5 (5x139.7) with the 6x5.5-to-5x5.5 adapter, step up to a heavy 8x6.5 (8x165.1) hub with the 6x5.5-to-8x6.5 adapter, or move to an 8x170 (8x170) pattern with the hub-centric 6x5.5-to-8x170 adapter. Every adapter is sold in pairs, so order two pairs for a full set of four.

Common questions

What bolt pattern does the Chevrolet Tahoe use? It depends on the generation and drivetrain. The 1995-2000 RWD 2-door (GMT400) uses 5x5 (5x127); every 4WD 1995-2000 model and all 2000-2027 Tahoes (GMT800, GMT900, K2UC, T1XX) use 6x5.5 (6x139.7). Because the pattern splits by body style and drivetrain within the early years, confirm your exact year, trim, and drivetrain, and measure your hub if you're unsure, before ordering so you pick the adapter whose "from" side matches your generation.
