Wheel Adapters for Jaguar XJ

Wheel Adapters for the Jaguar XJ (5x4.75" & 5x4.25")

These wheel adapters (also called wheel spacers) bolt directly to your Jaguar XJ's factory hubs and give you a new mounting face on the outside, so you can run wheels that would never fit the stock bolt pattern, add track width for a wider, more planted stance, and clear bigger brakes or tires. The catch with the XJ is that it used two completely different hub patterns depending on the era, so confirm your exact year and trim before ordering.

Jaguar XJ bolt pattern by year

  • 1968–2003 (Series 1/2/3, XJ40, X300, X308): 5x4.75" (120.6mm), fits these adapters
  • 2004–present (X350, X358, X351): 5x4.25" (108mm), fits these adapters

The real fitment check is the pattern itself, not the badge on the trunk, count your lugs and measure the hub before you buy. The XJ is a classic trap here: the changeover happened right around the 2003/2004 X308-to-X350 switch, so a car and its near-twin from the next model year can take totally different adapters.

Common questions

What bolt pattern does the Jaguar XJ use?
It depends on the year. Every XJ from 1968 through 2003 (Series 1/2/3, XJ40, X300, and the X308 XJ8) uses a 5x4.75" (120.6mm) pattern. From the 2004 model year onward, the X350, X358, and X351, the XJ switched to 5x4.25" (108mm). Match your car to the correct row above and choose the adapter for that hub pattern.

Did the Jaguar XJ bolt pattern really change?
Yes, and this is the number-one mistake buyers make. The pattern changed at the 2003-to-2004 generation switch from the X308 to the X350, going from 5x4.75" to 5x4.25". Two XJs one model year apart can need entirely different adapters, so verify by measuring the hub rather than assuming based on how similar the cars look.
