Wheel Adapter 5 Lug 5.5 To 5 Lug 5 (Pair) 87mm Bore
This type of adapter is used for 5 lug 5.5" (139.7mm)bolt pattern cars to fit 5 lug 5" (127mm) wheels. CNC machined 6061 T6 billet aluminum. Adapter bore diameter is 87mm. Check your hub bore before you purchase. New wheel studs are included. These adapters can be used on the following cars, among others:

**If the hub studs protrude outside the adapter and prevent the wheels to sit flush on the adapter plates, it is required to shorten the factory studs. It happens most often on 1" thick adapters.

Seat each adapter flat against a clean hub face and torque the adapter nuts to spec, then mount the wheel and torque the lug nuts the same way. Our torque reference chart lists the values to use, and both sets of hardware should be re-torqued after 50 to 100 miles.

Are wheel adapters safe?
Yes, when installed correctly: seated flat against the hub, torqued to spec with full thread engagement on every stud, and re-torqued after the first 50 to 100 miles of driving.
My factory studs stick out past the adapter. What do I do?
Shorten them. If the original studs protrude beyond the adapter face, the wheel cannot sit flush against the plate, and that is required for a safe install. This comes up most often with 1" thick adapters.
