Quick answer: 1987-2006 Wranglers (YJ and TJ) use the 5x4.5 (5x114.3) bolt pattern, while 2007 and newer Wranglers (JK and JL) use 5x5 (5x127). The adapters in this collection mount to both Wrangler hub patterns, so every model year from 1987 to today is covered, whether you want to run wheels from a different bolt pattern or fit newer JK/JL wheels on an older YJ/TJ. Always verify your Wrangler's pattern before ordering.

From a 5x5 hub (JK/JL) it converts to 5x4.5, 5x4.75, 5x5.5, 5x112, 5x120, 5x135, 5x150, 6x5.5, 6x135, 8x6.5 and 8x170, plus 5x5 to 5x5 spacer adapters with 1/2" or 14x1.5 studs.

Will JK or JL wheels fit my TJ or YJ? Yes. A 5x4.5 to 5x5 adapter bolts to your YJ/TJ hub and gives you 5x5 studs, so 2007-up Wrangler wheels bolt right on. Check that the adapter thickness clears your suspension and fenders.

How do I know if my Wrangler is 5x4.5 or 5x5? By year: 1987-2006 models are 5x4.5, and 2007-up models are 5x5. Both the outgoing JK and the new JL were sold in 2018, but both use 5x5, so the pattern is the same either way. Measure your hub or verify before ordering.

Why is there no 1996 in the list? Jeep skipped the 1996 model year between the YJ and TJ generations, so there is no 1996 Wrangler.
