**If the hub studs protrude outside the adapter and prevent the wheels to sit flush on the adapter plates, it is required to shorten the factory studs. It happens most often on 1" thick adapters.

Seat each adapter flat against a clean hub and torque to your vehicle's factory specification using the torque reference chart, then re-torque after 50 to 100 miles. If your factory studs protrude past the adapter face, shorten them so the wheel seats flush.
