Quick answer: the 2002-2014 Subaru WRX uses a 5x100 bolt pattern, while the 2015 and newer WRX uses 5x114.3, the metric equivalent of 5x4.5. The WRX STI made the same switch earlier, moving from 5x100 (2004) to 5x114.3 in 2005. This collection includes adapters for both hub patterns, so you can convert either generation to a different wheel bolt pattern. Please verify your bolt pattern before ordering.

From a 5x114.3 (5x4.5) hub you can convert to 4x100, 4x4.5, 4x156, 5x100, 5x110, 5x112, 5x120, 5x130, 5x135, 5x150, 5x4.25, 5x4.5, 5x4.75, 5x5, 5x5.5, 6x4.5, 6x135, 6x5.5, 8x6.5, 8x170, or 8x180 wheels.

Is 5x114.3 the same as 5x4.5? Yes. 114.3 mm equals 4.5 inches, so a wheel or adapter listed as 5x4.5 fits a 5x114.3 hub. They are two notations for the same pattern.

My WRX is 5x100. Can I run newer 5x114.3 wheels? Yes. A 5x100 to 5x4.5 adapter lets a 2002-2014 WRX run wheels from the 2015+ WRX, the 2005+ STI, and many other 5x114.3 vehicles. Verify adapter thickness and wheel offset before ordering.

Why does my 2013 STI not match my friend's 2013 WRX? The STI switched to 5x114.3 in 2005, ten years before the base WRX did in 2015. Check which model and year you have, then match the hub-side pattern of the adapter to it.
