Install one lock per wheel in place of a standard lug nut. Seat it with the included dual socket key and a torque wrench set to your vehicle's spec; our torque reference chart has the common values. Re-torque all positions after 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
Is 12x1.50 the same as 12x1.5?
Yes, it is the same thread written two ways: 12 mm stud diameter with a 1.5 mm thread pitch. Just make sure your studs are not 12x1.25, because pitch must match exactly.
Why choose an open end lock?
The open top lets the stud pass through instead of being capped, so stud length is not a limit. The bulge acorn shape seats like a standard acorn lug nut, and the dual socket key works with both 13/16 inch and 3/4 inch wrenches.
