Torque specs
The following torque specs are recommended for the installation of all our lug nuts:

How to install wheel adapters
We make two types of adapters, and they install differently. Check your product page: 2-piece conversion adapters say so in the description.
Bolt-on (1-piece) adapters
- Seat the adapter flat on the hub.
- Torque the adapters to the hub first, then hang the wheel and torque the included lug nuts to spec, with full thread engagement. Use a star (criss-cross) pattern.
- If the hub studs protrude outside the adapter and prevent the wheels to sit flush on the adapter plates, it is required to shorten the factory studs. It happens most often on 1" thick adapters.
- Re-torque everything after the first 50 to 100 miles.
2-piece conversion adapters
Each 2-piece wheel adapter has two separate pieces. Unscrew the black bolts and you will have the inner piece (without studs) and the outer piece (with studs).
- Installing 1st piece: Put the inner piece adapter to the hub. Use open-end lug nuts with the matching thread size as the hub studs to secure. Make sure the open-end lug nuts sit flush inside the holes of the adapters.
- Installing 2nd piece: Put the outer piece adapter to the inner piece, using the provided black bolts. Torque them to 50-55 ft-lb. ThreadLocker or Loctite on the leading threads is highly recommended.
- Installing rims: Put the wheels onto the adapters and secure with the lug nuts matching the adapter studs. Make sure the hub studs coming through the inner piece are not sticking against the outer piece — if so, cut the hub studs short.

How many adapters do I need?
Our wheel adapters are sold as a pair (2 pieces) unless the listing says otherwise. One adapter goes on one hub:
- 2 wheels (one axle) → 1 pair
- 4 wheels (full vehicle) → 2 pairs
Hub centric vs lug centric
A hub centric adapter is machined so its center bore matches your hub's pilot diameter — the wheel is centered by the hub, with the lug hardware clamping it. A lug centric adapter centers by the lug hardware alone. Product pages list the center bore in the spec table — match it to your hub before ordering.
