Slip the spacer over your studs so it sits fully flat against the hub face, then mount the wheel as usual. Because the spacer moves the wheel out 3/16 inch, confirm each lug nut still makes about seven full turns of thread engagement; if it comes up short, install longer studs before driving. Torque to your vehicle's spec using our torque reference chart and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.

Not always. The 3/16 inch thickness reduces available thread by the same amount, so check that each lug nut still turns about seven full times onto the stud with the wheel mounted. If it does not, longer studs are the fix.
