Fitment and specs
- Thickness: 7/32 inch
- Bolt patterns: 8x6.5 (8x165.1) and 8x170
- Material: lightweight aluminum
- Sold as a pair, enough for one axle
Clean the hub mounting face, set the spacer flat against it, then hang the wheel on your existing studs. Torque the lug nuts to your vehicle's spec using our torque reference chart. Because the wheel moves out 7/32", check that you still have the thread engagement required by the vehicle, wheel and fastener manufacturers; do not rely on a single turn count for every thread size. Fit suitable longer studs if needed, confirm the wheel and spacer seat flush, and check that closed-end lug nuts do not bottom out. Re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
Do I need longer studs with a 7/32" spacer?
Only if engagement comes up short. With the spacer and wheel installed, the studs must still give the thread engagement required by the vehicle, wheel and fastener manufacturers. If they do not, swap them for suitable longer studs first.
Will one pair fit both 8x6.5 and 8x170 hubs?
Yes. These spacers are made to fit both patterns, so the same pair works on an 8x6.5 (8x165.1) or 8x170 hub. Confirm your bolt pattern before installing.
