Thread each nut on by hand first, then snap the wheel down evenly in a star pattern and torque to your vehicle's factory specification using the torque reference chart. Re-check the torque after 50 to 100 miles of driving, since fresh hardware can settle. A little never hurts to keep a socket in the car for that follow-up check.

Will any lug nut work as long as the thread matches?
No. The seat shape has to match your wheel too. These are conical acorn nuts, and they are not interchangeable with ball (radius) or mag seat nuts even when the thread is identical.

Check the size stamped on a nut you currently have, or match it to the applications listed in the description above. These are cut for a 12x1.25 thread.
