Common questions
Are 12x1.5 and 12x1.25 lug nuts interchangeable?
No. Both fit a 12mm stud, but the thread pitch is different and forcing the wrong one will strip the threads. If a nut binds after a turn or two by hand, stop and double check your size. Our application guide page can help you confirm what your vehicle uses.
Do I need to match the seat type too?
Yes. Acorn style nuts use a tapered seat, which needs a wheel with tapered lug holes. Mag seat and ball seat wheels take different nut styles, and mixing seat types keeps the wheel from clamping properly.
