Thread each nut on by hand first so you never force a crossed thread, then bring them up to spec in a star pattern using our torque reference chart. Check the torque again after 50 to 100 miles, which is normal practice any time lug hardware is removed and reinstalled.
Common questions
Do these match my wheels' seat type?
These are acorn style nuts with a tapered cone seat. Wheels made for mag or ball seat hardware need different nuts, since seat types are not interchangeable. Match the seat to your wheel, not just the thread.
How do I keep the black finish looking good?
Use a properly sized six point socket and do the final tightening with a hand torque wrench instead of hammering them on with an impact gun. That protects the finish and the threads.
