The 1.72" body covers more of the stud for a cleaner, more finished look, which suits classic GM and Chrysler wheels. Because it is machined as one solid piece, the chrome exterior is part of the nut itself rather than a thin cap that can loosen.
Will these match my wheel's seat?
These are cone-seat lug nuts. If your current hardware tapers to a cone where it meets the wheel, you are set. Wheels designed for mag seat (flat with washer) or ball seat nuts are not compatible, since seat types cannot be mixed.
