Start every nut by hand for a few full turns so you never fight a cross-thread, then snug the wheel down in a star pattern. Final-tighten to the spec on our torque reference chart and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles, since the built-in washer beds in as the wheel settles.
Common questions
Will these work on aftermarket wheels with conical seats?
No. Seat styles are not interchangeable. These follow the Ford OEM washer-style design used on the factory wheels of the trucks listed above, so a wheel machined for a conical or ball seat needs a matching nut instead.
How many should I order?
They are sold in each piece, so order one for every stud you are covering. Replacing a matched set across the wheel keeps seating pressure and appearance consistent.
