Common questions
Does the seat type matter?
It does. This is an acorn nut with a tapered seat, and it needs a wheel with matching tapered lug holes to seat and center correctly. Conical, mag (shank), and ball seat designs are not interchangeable.
What is the difference between open end and closed end?
An open end nut lets the stud pass through the top, so stud length is never a constraint and you get full thread engagement on longer studs. A closed nut caps the stud end for a cleaner look but limits how much stud it can accept.
