Open End Bulge Acorn Lock 1/2"

Fitment and specs

• Thread size: 1/2"-20
• Bulge acorn style with an open end and chromed finish
• Set of 4 locks plus a dual socket key that takes a 13/16" or 3/4" socket
• Fits many newer cars and trucks running 1/2" studs

Install one lock per wheel using the included key and torque it to the same spec as your regular lug nuts. The torque reference chart lists common values, and like any lug hardware they should be re-torqued after 50 to 100 miles. Keep the key with your spare tire tools, not in a drawer at home.

Common questions

Do these replace all of my lug nuts?
No. The set of 4 works as one lock per wheel alongside your existing lug nuts, which is all it takes to slow down wheel theft.

Why the open end design?
The open end lets longer wheel studs pass through instead of bottoming out inside the lock, and the bulge acorn shape seats in wheels made for standard tapered acorn lug nuts.
