Compare the new stud with the old one before installing: the thread pitch and 1.75 inch overall length should match what came out of the hub. Seat the stud fully, then bring the lug nuts up to the value in our torque reference chart and check them again after 50 to 100 miles of driving.

What does RH mean on a wheel stud?
RH stands for right-hand thread, which tightens clockwise. Nearly all vehicles use right-hand wheel studs; you only need a left-hand version if your original is specifically marked LH.

Can I replace just one broken stud?
Yes. If a single stud snapped or stripped, you can swap it on its own. While you have the wheel off, look over the neighboring studs and replace any others with flattened, rusted, or damaged threads at the same time.
