Identify which of the two thread sizes matches the tapped hole in your hub or adapter, thread that end in until it seats firmly, and leave the other end for the lug nut. When the wheel is back on, tighten the lug nuts to the value in our torque reference chart and re-check torque after 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
How do I know 1.75 inches is the right length?
Measure the stud you are replacing end to end and match it. If nothing is being replaced, make sure the exposed portion gives the lug nut full thread engagement while still clearing closed-end nuts or wheel covers. This version measures 1.75 inches total.
Do both ends tighten the same direction?
Yes. Both the 14mm x 1.50 and the 12mm x 1.5 ends are right-hand threads, so everything tightens clockwise and loosens counterclockwise, the standard direction.
